Mahindra Thar with valvetronic exhaust and other modifications is a looker

Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular 4×4 SUVs in Indian market at the moment. The SUV was launched in 2020 and since then it has seen an overwhelming response from customers. The SUV has a long waiting period even today. In the last one year, we have seen several examples of neatly modified and customised Mahindra Thar from different part of the country. There are variety of accessories available for Thar in the market to enhance the the off-road capabilities or looks. Here we have a video where a Mahindra petrol SUV has been neatly modified with aftermarket alloy wheels.

The video has been uploaded by Autostyle Bangalore on their YouTube channel. Mahindra Thar seen here gets an all-black shade. The SUV gets an all-black theme and this gives it a mean look. Starting with the front, the stock grille has been replaced with an aftermarket Jeep grille. The front bumper has also been replaced. The stock halogen headlamps have been replaced with an LED unit with integrated ring type DRL. The aftermarket bumper gets a provision for an electric winch and there are shackles installed on it as well.

The lower part of the bumper gets an metal skid plate as well. The bumper also comes with integrated fog lamps. Coming to the side profile, the stock 18 inch alloy wheels on Thar have been replaced with aftermarket alloy wheels from the Fuel brand. The alloy wheels is finished in gloss black with Red accents. The tyres have also been upgraded. The alloy wheels and tyres are 20 inch units. On the front doors, hinge climbers have been installed.

The Mahindra Thar seen here is a LX soft top convertible variant. So the number of modifications like a roof rack other accessories could not be installed. Coming to the rear, the tail lamps are now LED units. A set of reflector LED lamps have also been installed in the car. Apart from the exterior, interior on this car have also been customised. The seats are now wrapped in Nappa leather and a center armrest has also been installed. The car gets grab handles, 7D floor mats, trunk organisers. armrest for rear passengers and many more accessories.

An aftermarket digital instrument cluster was also installed on the dashboard for a sporty look. The touchscreen infotainment system remains the stock but it now shows feed from the new reverse parking camera. The speaker set up in the car has been upgraded as well. damping has been done on the Thar and the stock units were replaced with components from infinity. The car gets underbody protection as well. The car also comes with a valvetronic exhaust which generates a sporty note. The sporty exhaust note can be heard in the video. Mahindra Thar is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged unit and the diesel version is powered by a 2.2 litre turbocharged unit. Both petrol and diesel come with manual and automatic transmission options with 4×4 as standard feature.
