As Nigerians continue to protest the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other foreign nationals in South Africa, #WeNoGetPresident trends on Twitter.
This trend started as Nigerians called for a stronger reaction from the Federal Government to the killing of Nigerians, looting and burning of their businesses in South Africa.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said he had sent a special envoy to South Africa to meet with President Cyril Ramaphosa on the xenophobic attacks.
Also, South African envoy in Nigeria, Bobby Moroe had been invited to a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, where he denied the attacks.
The response of the FG wasn’t acceptable, hence the online reaction.
